Adding and managing your skills
Skills section
A well-filled skills section helps employers find you in keyword searches and shows you are the right fit at a glance.
How to add a skill
- Go to Profile → Edit Profile and scroll to the Skills section.
- Type the skill name in the input field (e.g., AutoCAD, Python, Revit, Photoshop).
- Select a proficiency level: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.
- Click Add Skill. Repeat for each skill.
- Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Removing a skill
Click the × icon next to any skill entry to remove it, then save.
Tips for choosing skills
- Add both technical skills (software, tools, languages) and soft skills (communication, teamwork).
- Match skills to the internship descriptions you are targeting.
- Be honest about your proficiency — employers may test you.
- Aim for 6–12 skills for the best profile completeness score.
